Looks like I may be keeping the Speed Four when my D675 comes in, and I think with a years worth of experience it will be an excellent bike for my wife... I recall there being a company that sold lowering dog bones or something for the Speed Four, but cant remember for the life of me who it was, anyone still have that info???

Take a look at the series of posts on page 4 started by tt6pam:
"Possible adjustable shock link for TT600/Speed 4"

Lots of the information you may want.

Thanks for the info, Fury, based on the other thread it sounds like a pain in the a** to install, did you do them yourself or have someone install and how much were you charged if you did???

In order to change the dogbone or the shock, you need to be able to lift the back of the bike NOT by the swingarm. Tiedown straps from the rafters and a floor jack were how we did it when my brother and I swapped out the rear shock on the yellow bike. There were some pretty amusing pictures of a dangling TT600, but I don't know what happened to them.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

Another link can be purchased from www.adjustmenttech.com. It's not cheap, but it's easier to adjust (after installation) than the Great Bay type, so I've heard. I have an Adjustment Tech on the TT600 that I used to drag race.
