TT600/SpeedFour lower radiator support -rider's right
Are they interchangeable? I have a speed 4 and radiator attachment was rigged up after an accident by PO.
It looks like the TT600 has an extra attachment point for the fairing. But seeing as this is a track bike so long as the bracket goes from my point A to point B i can cut off/leave the extra metal as needed. Bike bandit pictures aren't very clear.
thanks
b

There's an attachment point for the fairing on a TT600 and a bracket for turn signals on an S4 near the top of the radiator.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

I bought the bike on salvage and have my own turn signal brackets. This is the lower radiator mount, are you sure the signals get involved there?

It's item 41 on bike bandit's S4 cooling diagram.
Do you know if the TT600 bracket will correctly run from the bottom of the S4 engine to the bottom of the radiator?
Thanks,
Bryan

The bracket for signals is at the top of an S4 radiator, and the bodywork mounts are on the bottom of a TT600 radiator. Those are the only radiator differences I'm aware of. I don't recall what item 41 might be, since it's been a while since I took apart a TT600. You may need that part if it is missing from your bike, but I can't say for sure.

Will,
Thanks for your replies - although they don't explicitly answer my question:
If I can pick up a TT600 rider's right lower radiator support will it hold my S4 radiator in place correctly?
Thanks,
Bryan

I didn't understand the question. Sorry. Yes, I'm about 90% sure it will work. There are some differences, but I don't think that's one of them.

Let us know if it works. I will feel really bad if it is one of the handful of parts that are different. Most of those different parts will interchange, but they fit a little differently.

It was cheap enough I wouldn't feel too bad if it didn't fit. They came in the mail the other day - bike is at a friends shop so no chance to fit yet. I'll report back next week after the holiday.
thanks
bryan
