Hello, I need help with Brake Lights

Hi, I recently changed out the undertail region of my Triumph Daytona 650 with one of those integrated LED lights that acts as running lights, brake lights, and turn signals all in one.

Now, I am not an electronics expert in the least, but I managed to hook it up to where the brake lights activate when the brake lever is pulled, and the turn signals activate correctly when they are turned on.

However, there is no running lights to speak of. The red lights only come on when the brake is pulled, which is potentially very dangerous when riding at night.

I have a buttload of extra wires (as you can see in the pic 1) that might need to go somewhere to get the running lights working, but I have tried every combination I know of, and connecting any of those extra wires seems only to make the turn signals blink faster and incorrectly--and it does nothing for turning the running lights on.

Also, when the turn signals blink, they blink amber with nothing going on on the opposite side when the power is switched on. But, as you can see in the last picture, when the bike's engine is actually running, the turn signal blinks along with the red light on the opposite side blinking as well. That isn't a problem per say, but I say it just to add any and all information I can to help you guys help me figure out what the problem is.

I google searched the problem as thoroughly as I could, and the best answer I was able to come up with was the fact that there is a possibility that something isn't properly getting grounded--but I'm not sure what. I checked all the fuses, and they seem fine.

Any takers?

Also, I have a PDF of the wiring schematic for a Daytona 600 (which confuses the heck out of me) that I can provide if necessary.

Pic 1: How it currently sits wiring-wise
Pic 2: Bike is switched to the "on" position, but not running (lights do not turn on when bike is running either)
Pic 3: Left turn signal working ("on" position, bike not running)
Pic 4: Right turn signal working ("on position, bike not running)
Pic 5: Brake lever being pulled, brake lights working (both "on" position and when bike is running)
Pic 6: Left turn signal action when bike is running (you can see the opposite side flashing red as well)

Hey, I was just doing some perusing of the rest of this forum section and came across this thread: http://www.triumphrat.net/triumph-su...600-video.html, which helped me figure out the problem.

I mentioned in the original post that all the fuses were fine, but what I failed to realize was that there was two different locations for fuses on the bike. I was only checking the location next to the battery, and I didn't realize that there was another location by the headlights that had a set of fuses. It appears the fuse for the brake lights was blown, and replacing that fuse fixed it right up.

Goes to show you just how horrible I am with wiring bikes...haha!

A big thanks to the guy who posted those videos.
