D600 stator again

Hi all,

I am pretty sure my stator is shot. I have a replacement r/r but I need a stator. I cant afford a new one at the moment therefore after reading various threads my understanding of it is that a ZX6R stator will fit also, as getting a Daytona one is like hens teeth.

Is this correct and if so is it easy enough to fit.

Please help as I have not long bought the bike and I wouldnt mind riding it this year.

Apologies if this has been covered but I am quite thick when it comes to electrics and the threads before are a bit above me.

ZX6 ones fit fine, you just need the grommet and plug off your old one, or modify the grommet to fit
