The Daytonas (to date) tend to be very well behaved bikes in the corners. I can catch and pass more people in the tight sections of the track, including 1000cc bikes. Mostly let the bike do what it does and try not to be more of an encumberance than is necessary
I spent two days and 330 miles at Laguna Seca just before the holidays and had an absolute blast with my TT600! Although almost everyone passed me on the straights I caught up with them in the corners as this bike LOVES corners! Even the famed Andretti hairpin I was right on their tail! DVD I made from tank mounted camera is awesome and I'd post except I'm still on the old copper wire hook up of 24K (sucks!).
Track days are where it's at folks! Ride'em like no tomorrow and you'll live longer.....
Stalking RC51s and the like is a complete blast. Those big bikes are a real handful, and if you ride a TT600 or S4 reasonably well, you can get 'em in the corners. It is a gas.
