I have a question for you triumph people out there. I currently have a 2001 tt600 which has had the fuel injection section of the wiring harness which has been hacked up by the previous owner (it has multiple spices in it from a wideband commander for data logging). My question is if there are idifferences in the harness between the different years of these bikes. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

they should all be the same. My guess is the hacked harness is causing your problems.
