Anyone have any experiences with this mix? The PC listed on their site says for 03-04 models.

I have the Triumph Carbon can and K&N air filter. Bike just isnt as smoothe as it used to be....love the sound though so there is no going back. Figured this might smoothe things out. Any comments?

Response I got back from PC:

The unit will definitely run and work on the bike but I am not sure if the maps will be optimal for you or not. You may have to adjust the map to get the most out of the bike. If you have any other questions please let us know. Thanks.

If you are going to be adjusting maps anyway, I suggest skipping the piggyback PC and getting a Tuneboy setup. I think it is a slightly cheaper too.

Think im going to order it. I like the idea that if I screw it up, all I have to do is disconnect it and back to stock. Seems pretty fool proof....and Im a fool so.....

The model they have is for an 04. I dont think there were any changes made to the 05's that would give me a problem.

Let us know how it works. I'm interested in one myself. It does however seem to me that to get the max benefit from a PC it needs to go on the dyno and get a custom map.

I have a TuneBoy and it is pretty sweet. $310 includes shipping. You download the base map which you modify not only the fuel but also ignition timing and idle speed, and change the name of so you still have the base map to go back to.

It reprograms the computer's fuel maps and ignition curve instead of adding a box to alter the signals from it.

The one cable works on ALL FI Triumphs to so you can tune your dad's Sprint os S3.

Will you guys be putting your bikes on the dyno or just using the PC's built in code?

You should run many dynos.
1st is the base line too see what stock hp is so you know what you have really done.
Then get an air/fuel gauge, find out what the proper ratio is and adjust to get the proper ratio with the most HP. Spend some time adjusting to get it right, it makes a big differance.
Don't just add a program, make sure it works on the dyno, your butt dyno is never accurate. Because of the altitide where I live, custom maps are a must.
