Again another question for you guys helping me out. Is there a big difference between Mobile 1 T4 15w50 Racing oil that is recommended in the manual and Mobile 1 15w50 fully synthetic oil?

Again,
The 4T is a motorcycle specific oil, but it's $49.99 for 4 liters, and try to find it in the US!

The gold cap 15W-50 'Extended Performance' full synth that's out there is an automotive oil. It however should be fine for our bikes according to what I've read. It does not contain the energy star logo or friction modifying additives, those are the problem with most auto oils and our wet clutches.

I've also read , if you call Mobil and explain, they suggest you use their 20W-50 Motorcycle fully synth oil....but it is branded V-Twin oil for air cooled motors! And it's still $9.99/qt !!

I've put about 200 miles on my salvage project S4 pre-getting it retitled (Shhh!) and have run 15W-40 Rotella T Synthetic for the quick couple rides. Now I would like to get some proper 50W in there as I've got the bike back together and am ready to get it inspected, insured, and put about 4500mi on it before Winter! I've got some quick last minute rides planned!

Name your oil's everyone! List your oil mfgr, auto or moto branded, and weight!
