wow took my tt in for a few things to be sorted out and they have loaned me a brand new 2005 s4 with 500 miles on the clock feck me its so crisp and pulls so much quicker from low down its unreal even had the front wheel up in second without trying !!!!!!!!!!!! but guess what left it in the garage for an hour to go and pick the kids up and when i came back there was a little puddle of oil underneath the bike so it must be a generic thing with trumpets so i am not going to worry about mine leaking like an old lady anymore
really tempted to trade my tt for an s4 but i do a fair bit of touring and i couldnt help but notice the windblast today
again great site keep up the good work

I have had a couple of oil leaks on my S4.

One was from the front sprocket seal (warrantied), one was the shift shaft seal (warrantied).

What I am finding just about every day is a drop or two of coolant from the overflow tube. At first I thought it was oil but after sopping it up with a white paper towel I could see the blue tinge.

Oh -- I assume the '06 has the new tune that I just got on my '03. I wouldn't say it transforms the bike, but it is a joy.

Overflow from the coolant bottle is pretty normal for some reason. Oil leaks are not normal in my experience.

New tune? Only one I've ever seen for the speed four is 10111 -- there's another one now?

I don't know what the code's number is but at my last warranty service I got a new code put in and it (to my perception) started the "rush" a bit earlier in the range. It also seemed to narrow the rev-range of the part thottle/low speed/stutter thing.
