2000 Triumph TT 600. Bought it last Friday. Noticed when the engine warms up she's running at around 200-210 degrees. Is this on the high side? If so, any suggestions?

My 2003 Speed Four runs around 190 when I am in motion but if I stop at a light for anytime it will get up to that temperature or higher. I read an article in Motorcyclist that they tend to run hot. It hasn't seen to be a problem yet on mine.

I use Redline Water Wetter to help keep temps down - plus anti-freeze is not legal at most tracks. The water wetter has had an effect in lowering temps by 10-20 degrees. My S4 still scorches my thighs on hot days... Just the nature of the beast.

I have pretty much the same experience: 170 on the freeway, over 200 on local streets in traffic, and the fan kicks in at 225. A friend with a Honda CBR has the same experience, so looks like 600 cc inline fours may run under the same conditions.

Not to worry.
