be patient. double check everything. I take a sheet of paper and draw 4 identical circles on it in a row. these are your cylinders, number them if it helps you keep them in order. then i mark two lines for the exhaust valves and two lines for the intake. write your numbers on the corresponding spaces. i put a picture below in case you don't follow.

they will vary between valve to valve to ensure you get the correct tolerance. you cant just say there all 245 (mine was) you hae to disassemble, then reassemble, order, wait, dissassemble, fit, reassemble. thing jesus christ what a pain in the ass.

Diameter is= 7.48mm. Just double checked with my shiny new caliper. In reference to the "order, wait, dissasemble, reassemble" method. Check HOTCAMS website. They sell shim kits with most of the sizes we would need. Unfortunately no kit for Triumphs but if you know the diameter (frist sentece) you can order the correct sizes. I have been meaning to buy one because it beats the hell out of driving to the dealers to buy/trade shims just haven't done it yet. Plus you'll be able to use them on other bikes in the future.
