Triumph Daytona 650 production

I know this model was only made for a year but has anyone have any idea roughly how many bikes amounts to?

I would like to know myself! Also, the breakdown between the Racing Yellow and the red model.

dunno, how many bikes did triumph make in total around that time?

okay, apparently 31,600 in 2005.

another number that may help a guesstimate at least: "Triumph intended to build only 4000 Daytona 675's for 2006, with 1000 marked for the UK, 2000 for the US, and 1000 for the rest of the world. Production may have been increased slightly from these numbers due to demand."

Speaking to a chap from Triumph he said that total production for all motorbikes was somewhere near 30-40,000 units. He said that of those, there were only about 2000 or 3000 made.

When you split that over the world, that is pretty scarce. I'm still surprised that if you look on autotrader you can still see quite a few of them for sale. Either way I don't think I've ever seen another one in the flesh on the road, only the 600s. Nice to own something a little different!
