Forced air induction

Just a quick question, I see Triumph claims that the daytona 600/650 uses forced air induction. In the absence of any turbo or superchargers is this achieved only from having a forward facing air intake on the nose?

Yep, its called ram-air intake. Air is literally rammed down its throat to make more power.
Unfortunately (this is my opinion) it works best at very high speeds, as in over 100mph.

hehehe. It would be interesting to find out what kind of over pressure this generates with speed.
