S4/ Daytona instrument bracket!

So basically I have a 05 Daytona 650 that I plan to street fight im doing a single headlight conversion but have noticed the LSL headlight conversion comes with a instrument panel bracket for the speed triple .. Does anyone know if that fits on the speed four? or is there a bracket out there at all for the speed four? not including the stock one(witch stick out way too far for my liking)

I have no idea but I want to know now!

I'm sticking with the bug eye but defo agree the instruments are too far forward, would love to get them set back.

You need a 2002-2004 S3 or any year S4 headlight/instrument panel bracket and two S4 adapting brackets. Look on bikebandit.com under an S4 for reference. The brackets are the same between the S3 (02-04) and S4, but the S4 chassis requires the adapting pieces to work properly. FYI, the aftermarket setup you linked to seems pretty expensive to me compared to what stock S4 setups are going for (when you can find them at a good price).

but the standard bracket is that combined mount that holds the lights and instruments whereas the after market part is a separate bracket that connects to the top yoke and should sit the instrument further back?

Also the link was for the single headlight mounts and the bracket. I might email them to see if they would just do the instrument bracket, should be much cheaper.

I do agree it seems a lot for a few pieces of metal and some bolts.

Correct The stock bracket holds both light and instrument im just looking for the instrument bracket.

and it seems there are not much aftermarket parts concerning this kind of thing for s4's?

I've noticed that, I guess because they haven't been made for a while now. I tend to scan for S3 stuff that might fit.

I reckon that bracket ought to do the trick but only if the mounting points for the S3 bars is in the same place as the screws for the S4.

Maybe not, Might try to find an S3 and do some measuring.

Failing that I reckon I could get something like that knocked up out of some sheet metal.

Might be worth a go, I'm considering getting creative with some cardboard templates now.
