Well i'm putting about 9 litres in my bike and getting about 65 miles, doesn't seem to be very good to me, what are other people getting?

9L = 2.4 gallons

I would assume you should get 40 to the gallon

so I would think you should get around 80 or more

really depends on how heavy your throttle hand is

US gallons or UK gallons? There's a big difference. Our wimpy little gallon is quite a bit smaller than the mighty imperial gallon.

OK, now talking in US gallons - best I ever got was over 50 mpg when I had the mixture leaned out to the point the bike ran a bit hot and was riding very long distances at a fairly constant speed. Worst I ever got was about 16 mpg. It's mostly about your right hand.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

US gallons. Worst I ever got was in the 33 range. I have only got 40 miles a gallon maybe on 20 tanks. I check it every time I fill it up. I have put 18000 miles on it, the 37 is about the average, but I putt around most of the time
