what did i do! help firing over.

Ok so last season my bike had some starting issues and ran choppy sometimes... i found the cause as i was tearing the bike down this year to repaint it... the stator plug was FRIED like melted to one.

i rewired with a new plug got the bike back together. fresh oil , fresh coolant, only thing that is a couple months old is the gas. and it seems the bike just wont fire over...what should i check first ? i just put new plugs in October as well and a new air filter....

When you say 'won't fire over' - does engine crank, just not light up?
If it doesn't crank, your battery is probably discharged - especially since getting no charging from that connector mess.
Did you re-charge it on a bench-top charger?
Does it indeed crank the engine over?
Are the headlights strong when you turn on the ignition?
Can you hear the Fuel Pump 'prime' (whine) for 3 secs after ignition first turned on?
What is the voltage at the battery when you turn on ignition & lights?

The charging system connector problem will not stop bike from starting, but you do need to check out both the stator & regulator to see if either of those is damaged.
Check out this thread for a guide to diagnosing that system
Install the CBR FH008 R/R along with those recommended Metri-pack connectors.

so i tested my battery and its only putting out 11.2 standby and when i go to start it its only putting out 9.1 which anything below 9.6 is prety much a dead or useless batter so im gonna try and get a new one and see if that does the trick
