I took this off another thread, I think it should be here too. The turn signal module from a 90s volkswagen golf is interchangable with the turn signal module for a speed4/ tt600. Thanks Jatimon.

If that's the case, all VW's are the same fron 1970 > 1996 across all models. Guess who sells VW parts for a livin'...

And the relay's for the headlamp mod on the S4 are the same as VW aux equipment relays, 141 951 253 B if memory serves.

Is there a company in the U.S. that specializes in junked Triumphs? Has anyone ever seen a Triumph Rat Bike? It might be fun to make one.

I have a n 01 tt600...just got it...it has a D&D pipe that was really loud......I opened the pipe up to repack it and noticed that "ZX7" was written with a black magic marker on the packing....I trimmed some of the packing away and it was alot quieter......

Do aftermarket pipes for a ZX7 work for this bike?....what should I do to sort out the fuel mapping?....do you think it will be fine?...I am going to get a tuneboy btw....should I just sell it and get a proper slipon?

Turn indicators swap out w/BMW and are $60 cheaper too. they are a tad shorter, maybe by 1.5-2" or so.

There is a parts swap listing in the general forums, but that isn't so useful for us here. If there is enough interest, I will make this a sticky post so we can find it easily. This is what I know of right now for TT600/S4:

Exhaust can- swaps with 98-02 ZX6-R

Front turn signals swap with Ducati 916

Front sprocket swaps with 96-98 ZX6-R

Rear sprocket swaps with 01-03 GSXR-600

Oil filters swap with a whole lot of others

Fuel filter swaps with BMW fuel filter
Will, do you know about the handle bar mounts? Does the mounting bolt pattern match any other Triumph? I want to install the Heli riser/spacers and they do not list the S4/TT. Can you help?

Thanks

I never thought about the bars much. If you know fork tube diameter, you can put whatever profile clipons you want onto the bike as long as they have the correct mounting diameter. Early R6 clipons work, but that probably doesn't help you much.

For what its worth, I considered Woodcraft clipons and had an idea about mounting them under the triple clamp instead of the stock location.

I can verify that the flasher from the VW will work. I ordered under a 1994 VW Golf III. Even flashes faster when a bulb is out.

Part EP35 from Tridon Stant

TRDEP35 from Advance.

Just installed one on my S4 and the signals are now working. $13 vs $63 from the Triumph dealer is a good savings.

been meaning to post this swap or rather upgrade for a while... swap your 14mm front master cylinder for that from a 2nd generation SV650S which is a 5/8" bore. this is already a popular upgrade, but using the SVS as a parts source makes it reasonably priced as well.
