I have an '02 TT600, and I need just the front right brake rotor. Are these the same as anything else? New they are ridiculous, and used I can't find them for the TT.
Help?
Chad

I'm not sure how much Triumph charges, however bike rotors are generally expensive regardless of the manufacturere.

I have found the EBC rotor MD662RS is about $170

Is the s4 engine an exact match for the TT600? If so, are all year models interchangeable?

i would imagine all the engine mounts are the same however some of the internals are different like the cams to produce more power low down and all years should be the same!

Yes, I believe so, with a couple exceptions. The color is different (sliver for a TT600, black for an S$) and the cams. My understanding of the cams is that the hottest setup is an exhaust cam from a 2000 bike and an intake cam from a 2002 or later bike. S4 cams are ground for more low end and less ultimate power, so if you put TT600 cams in an S4, you would find it even more gutless down low, but stronger at the top.

I hope this helps.

Yes, Thanks Will, that does help. I can now broaden my search for a replacement for my 00 TT engine. Its like finding a needle in a hay stack.

Just to post a couple additions and corrections - The kawasaki filter cross ref is a 16097-1072 not the 16099-003. the -003 is an internal element type filter, the -1072 is the correct spin-on type. Cost on it is currently US$7.95. Front Brake lever crosses to just about every Triumph bike made in hte last 10 years....

If anyone needs help finding something that will work, feel free to PM or email me, i'm in the parts department at a dealership that sells Triumph, Kawasaki, Buell, Harley, Polaris, and John Deere - So i've got a fair selection of parts to try.

Someone mention Ducati 916 ?

I have a mate who is a Ducati monster owner who told me that Monster and 916 parts are interchangable but the 916 parts are more expensive , so if your going to get Ducati parts get em for the Monster , exactly the same as 916 byt cheaper .
