d600 tt600/speed 4 fuel pump swap?

yes / no?

i have read conflicting info, and i have seen single and double outlet pumps for sale as daytona pumps

i have rebuilt a few tt600/s4 and i just picked up a complete - minus fuel pump and gauges - d6 engine with harness etc etc

need to know if my tt/s4 pump will work or not, or if i can mod it to work.

It depends on the production date/VIN of the motorcycle. If the Daytona has duel fuel lines, an S4 or TT600 fuel pump with duel lines is interchangeable; they are the same pump. If it is a single fuel line pump, a single line S4 pump is interchangeable; they too are the same pump as D600/650. For your info, at least from what I know, they never made a TT600 with a single line pump.

The electric parts of the pump might be the same. I don't know. The outlets are different from each other. TT600s all used the same two outlet configuration, while later bikes used a single outlet similar to what is now used on Kiehin injected bikes. A few of the latest model S4s also used the later style configuration even though they were still Sagem injected. This is what I know, and it may not be absolutely correct. The best thing to do is inspect your injection system to see what the fuel lines are like, and use their configuration to decide which style of fuel pump you need.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.
