I agree with kubbie; it sounds like a bad breather seal. To add to the above, you'll want to remove the fuel tank and air filter. Clean all of the oil out of the airbox, and you may need to replace the air filter if it is saturated. You will want to remove the vacuum hose from the right side of the airbox that goes back to the ECM, and blow it out with compressed air. You'll also want to separate the ISCV stepper motor from the plastic vacuum hose housing (the piece located on the back of the engine where four vacuum hoses connect), and clean out the inside of the housing and blow air through the vacuum hoses. Check out Bikebandit.com under 2000 TT600 airbox:
HERE I'm talking about numbers 14 and 15. There is also a vacuum line on some of the fuel regulators on the right side of the fuel rail. Remove and blow through this hose also.
If you are leaking that much oil each time you shut the engine off, chances are that the vacuum lines and ISCV have oil in them. If you do not blow out the hoses and ensure there is no oil in the ISCV, you will probably experience cold start and idle issues down the road, and the ECM will not be getting proper barometric readings. It is in your best interest to be safe and clean them all out.
