My bike cought on fire, Help with wiring? 2000 600TT

So my bike cought on fire and burned up alot of the wiring harness. I got most of it repaired, but I've got three wires comeing from the crankcase that have been burned enough to confuse how the wiring should be done.

The three black wires were connected through a plug(burnt to a crisp) to three brown wires into the wiring harness. So theres nine different configurations i could go for... Is it just bad luck that this isnt color coded? or does the fact that they are all brown mean they are all grounds so it doesnt matter which combination i rewire them to? I've checked a repair manual i found online but it wasnt much help.

Anyone got an idea? Im assuming these wires are to the alternator?

Thanks in advance to anyone with some info!

-Dan

Diagram

So I found the alternator/rectifier diagram in the manual but it still isnt much help. From my understanding of how rectifiers work it may not matter what wires are in the negative/positivie lead but there is still the third wire I am worried about. i attached a picture and circled the servered wires.

Thoughts anyone?

Dano, the 3 black wires coming from the stator go straight to the 3 brown wires in your harness(third picture). It doesn't matter which black wire goes to which brown wire. Just make sure you have a good connection, thats what melted mine. and those 3 wires go directly to the regulator plug and change to yellow on the other side of the plug.

Thats what i though, would make since that it wouldnt matter due to them being the same color, just kinda worried me. Actuall there was no brown wire, as i torn off some more wire i found it was yellow just burned brown heh.. Thanks!
