It is like most cam chain tensioners with two bolts holding it onto the engine and a nut on the back holding the spring. It is located at the back of the engine on the right. It is not as easy as simply removing the nut or even the whole piece to reset. You must ensure cylinder #1 is on TDC, remove the cam cover so that you can ensure the tensioner paddle properly seats once removed and reinstalled, remove the unit to reset the plunger, etc. So there is a lot more work to it than resetting it using the nut.
There are other steps, but before going into detail, what noise are you hearing? Is it constant, at what rpm(s), does it go away when pulling in the clutch lever, does it go away when accelerating, have you accurately pinpointed it to be coming from the cam chain (using a stethoscope or screwdriver), etc? I've never heard of these engines have an issue with the cam chain tensioner, but they do make a lot of unusual-to-other-engines sounds that are perfectly normal.
