Where do you live, how many miles, what condition, what tires, how motivated is the seller...?

The real answer is whatever you decide you want to pay, and whether the seller thinks it's enough.

I paid $4700 US for mine 4 years ago with 4300 miles on the clock. It also had a handful of nice accessories from SkyKing. KBB lists the bike's value as $3740 for my area.

paid £3000 for my '06 in 2006, had 900 miles on the clock. previous owner had bought it when triumph were getting rid of the last models, but had hardly ridden it and needed the cash.

was able to pick it up cheap as brand spanking new they were £3600.

but i couldn't get a black one.....heh heh.

also had the belly pan, rad cowls, seat cowl etc....

like anything depends on the condition its in, how many miles on the clock etc. in the uk you can pick up '06 models with under 18k on the clock for anything between £2400-£3100.

s4 owners do seem to hang on to them...plus they don't make 'em any more.

also look at service history- whens the next service? 12k and 24k are biggies so factor that in to the price too.

I paid $5000 for my 05, with 400 miles on it and one year of warranty left. This was about four months ago. Love this bike!

What would the realistic (UK) price for a 2004 Speed 4, with 4K on the clock be?
A buddy has 1 in the garage, but its not been used for over 18 months and I`m tempted to ask him if he wants to sell it to me
