Proud new owner of a TT600

So I recently purchased my first bike. It is an 02 tt600 caspian blue since everyone feels the need to post colors. ha ha ha It was dumped a lot of the work I can do myself I think body work and such but I do need a lot of misc. parts. I have been doing research but am having a difficult time finding parts compatibility as far as the Daytona and other bikes go. Does anyone know any links or can anyone help? Thanks

Take a look at the sticky at the top. There are pages and pages of parts substitutes, although you will have to wade through it all. What specific parts are you looking for?

I have been looking through it shortly a lot of the stuff really. I need a right handle bar, a break lever, new exhaust, right side foot peg, and left side passenger foot peg. battery.... I picked the bike up from a guy who dumped it and planned on fixing it up. It sat around for three years and he figured he should just get rid of it. His loss my gain. If you can think of any places to get parts let me know. That would be awesome.

First off, I probably would replace the broken bars with aftermarket bars from somebody like Woodcraft or Vortex. (Shameless plug - Vortex is one of my racing sponsors). Both make excellent products which will fit just fine. They will also change the riding position and make it much more aggressive. If you want the stock riding position, and it's a good one, you will have to find new or used OEM bars.

Clutch levers should be fairly straight forward. My 675 currently has one intended for a Kawasaki of some kind on it. Brake levers are a different story, since you have to find one which fits the master cylinder. I understand an SV650 master cylinder works very well, so replacing the whole thing might be an option.

Foot pegs and brackets are OEM or nothing, as is the exhaust header and midpipe back to the flange. If the exhaust is OK back to the flange, then an earlier model ('95 to '97 if I remember right, and I probably should because somebody got upset about this) ZX6R bolts up, and so does a bolt on can intended for a Bandit 1200.

Batteries are batteries. Get one the right size and it will work. I think F4is use the same battery.
