Unhappy Another Electrical problem

Hi! i have an 00 tt600, yesterday it was running perfect, i just put in a new battery and it started up at first crank. i loaded it up on my truck and brought it to a brake and light inspection place. Started doing the inspection but when i turned the key to look at the speedo, nothing happened. It looked as if the battery died or was copmletely disconnected - nothing lit up, fuel pump didnt prime - nothing, i tried to jump start but nothing changed. I checked all the connections visually and kinda looked around but there is absolutely nothing. I took it home and looked at it some more and it turns out the turn signals and the horn still work but nothing else.

I assume its either a bad connection or a fuse or something but if anyone has any advice please help me out.

thanks

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.
