Got To Ride our TT600 Today!
What a nice bike - sounds great, handles like it's on rails, stops on a dime, and looks awesome. We bought this bike in the Spring, and have been working slowly on it since then. Finally licenced it today and went for a 40 kilometer ride.
It's actually my wife's bike; bought for track days, but pressed into service as a backup street bike when my 800GS BMW was in the shop longer than expected.
I installed steering head bearings and fork seals, pretty much all it needed, so it's handling nicely but the suspension sure could use a bit less preload on the springs. I weigh about 215lbs, and it didn't feel like the suspension, especially the rear, moved at all on the short ride I went on.
What a sound! Just lovely.
Nice to have a Triumph in the fold again after all these years, the last one we had was a '68 Trident engine in a Dresda frame, which we sold in the '80s...
