I have the scan on my computer somewhere. I don't believe we can post it without copyright problems, but if you send me a private message, I will dig through all the files in here and send it to you.

I dialed in the adjustment they recomand for the road in the article (thanks Pantablo) and it works fine for me and my riding style :-) (04 speed four)

whats interesting about this bike is to see the face of japanese bikes riders when they see how it goes in curves
:???:

and mine as they reach me at the next stop :-D

this bike rocks!

Yup thanks Pantablo
the PB street settings have added about 15mph to my bumpy straight speed and up to 10mph to my corner speed.

Now that is cool ++

Thanks again

For the mechanically uninformed, perhaps someone could run down how to perform each adjustment. I would like to experiment with these settings, but dont know how to perform each adjustment, or what tool to use.

found the directions in the owners manual! so easy its pathetic, except for the rear spring pre-load. Does the dealer really have to do this?

No, the dealer doesn't have to do that. Some lawyer must have been invloved in writing that bit of instruction.

It also says the unit needs to be dissassembled to adjust it. Is that another bunch of hooey? If so, I could use a tip or two on how to do it.

I'm sorry to say but Will (and the others that received hard/email copies) are the last ones to get them from me...I can't find the magazine it was in and fear it was tossed with a bunch of other magazines (oh, the horror). scan was lost when I left my last job [Did I mention I started my own architectural office?]

Please, those that got a copy pass the article around amongst yourselves....

Congratulations on your new business- good luck and I hope you prosper! I do have a copy of the file somewhere, so send me a private message if you want it. There isn't much more useful than just the settings that are already in this thread. Also, I tend to be at a different computer, so please forgive me if you ask for a copy and it takes a long time for me to get it to you.

Just to let you all know I have had these settings on my bike since the article came out last year and have never looked back. can get a bit flighty at higher speeds on bumpier roads but feels much more planted generally. :-D
