Has anyone had any luck with an LED tail. The only one out there that I've found is the Clear Alternatives one with the integrated signals. In principal it looks wonderful, but I believe I may have seen one on the road the other day, and I was not that impressed.

Unfortunately, I do a lot of interstate driving to and from work and am looking to make myself as visable as possible. I'm already sporting a KTM blaze orange backpack, but I was looking into a LED tail. My aftermarket LED signals have are much brighter.

I put LED bulbs into the taillights at one point, and they were far dimmer than OEM in daylight. They were somehow brighter at night. I'm not sure I understand how this is possible, but it's how it seemed to me. So I took them out. The bulbs are now in the taillights of my van. Anybody who rear ends a 1973 Chevy van gets what he deserves.
