Front Suspension adjustment

As you can see i am a newbie on here but would like to know how and what the official adjustments are for the front suspension as they are both uneven and the brass screws are in different places to one another and i was told they should both be in equal positions..any ideas ty

You need to set your static/rider sag first that sets the preload for your weight, depending on your weight you might have to fit after market springs to get the proper front & rear sag
Then you can play around with your comp and rebound damping to suit your riding style. There is no one setting, what works for one person might not work for the next.

The brass screws may or may not need to face the same direction. The upper fork legs can rotate when you install them, so if they were put in at different angles and tightened without being straightened, the screws would be different with the same adjustment. You should count the same number of "clicks" out from fully screwed in. There's information about all kinds of different adjustments floating around, but ultimately, it's all got to do with your specific riding style, habits, and preferences.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.
