Triumph TT600 33bhp restrictor kit - Removal?

Hey there, I've got a Triumph TT600 which I bought with a 33bhp restrictor kit fitted. I know that, as far as I'm aware, all the kit consists of are four washers that are located in the air box and a throttle stop. I'm wanting to remove the restrictors, now as far as I know this is just a case of removing the washers and throttle stop and assembling everything back to the way it was? - or do I have to get the ECU re-set or re-mapped?

Any help much appreciated!

Josh.

I think there was a separate 33 bhp map, but it's been so long I don't remember clearly.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

Thanks for the reply. I've checked on a few other forums and people don't seem to think that the map is changed upon restriction.

Anyone else have any information on this?

Thanks for reading,

Josh.

I would think a 33bhp map would have to be different, as the bike would run very rich and sluggish not being able to get over a certain rpm and being starved for air. I don't know this for a fact, but it makes sense.
