Hi All,

I've been reading up on the past posts. I have a question that seems to have been covered, but I'm not sure. My Speed 4 idles a little rough. Also, it seems to hesitate and not want to go when the rpm is kept below 3000. From what I've seen, this just seems to be one of the quirks with this bike. Is that so? My dealer seems to think it's a solvable problem and they're checking with Triumph about it. They have another 03 S4 that does the same thing. Am I just asking a really stupid question?

Ride safe,
Yaniv

Not a stupid question, and it is solvable. The problem is most likely a combination of CO settings and throttle body synchronization. Sometimes the dealer will have to set the CO percent a bit more than the factory spec in order to get the low end to smooth out. That should help a lot. If you want to get the bottom end completely sorted, you can use a Power Commander or a TuneBoy cable and program to remap the bike, but getting it set up right in the first place will get you most of the way there.

Thanks Will,

I'll pass the info on to my dealer and go from there.
