My own dealer, who has been superb, is only 15mins ride away. I ride up and wait if its something quick or get a loaner of an old 600 Diversion to get me home and back if its going to be a while. I pay for the loaner but this is less than the cost of taxi's.

It used to be a 1 mile drive to my dealer, but he dropped Triumph late last summer. Now the nearest dealer is 400 miles away. The local Honda dealer used to carry Triumph. I haven't asked them whether they still have anyone on staff capable of working on them.
Once the warranty was up, I'd always planned on doing a lot of the work myself. This just moves the schedule up 6 months or so. Still, it'd be nice to have a knowledgable local wrench for backup.
