Thank you to Triumph of Seattle

Last week I bought a used Arrow exhaust for my Street Triple. I called my local dealer, Triumph of Seattle, to inquire about mapping the ECU to match the exhaust. They told me they can definitely do it, and when I asked about how much it would cost me, they said they'd do it for free. Unexpected as it was, it was very nice thing to hear. I took my bike in, and sure enough, they flashed the new map, and I was all set in 15 minutes or so, with no money leaving my pocket.

I am wary of dealers. Incompetence and dishonesty are not unheard of, so I am always cautious in my dealings when it comes to motorcycle purchase or service. This little episode was very refreshing, and restored some of my lost faith that there are still businesses who value the long term relation with a customer. I have spent some money on parts and gear at Triumph of Seattle in the past, and will have no reservations for continuing to buy from them in the future. I can definitely recommend them as a dealer.

Thank you, Triumph of Seattle.

Yeah Triumph of Seattle is solid. They have mounted/balanced tires for me for free with the understanding that I buy my next bike there!

Since October of last year, I have purchased over 50% of the accessories on my bike thru Triumph of Seattle... And I literally live across the country... If I ever had a question about a part or part #, I never once felt as if I was bothering them, or keeping them from their Face-Book page.

Not once did I receive an incorrect part. They sent me everything 2-Day free shipping. Many of the items were near impossible to get, back when I initially purchased my bike. And they seemed to always be able to get the item I wanted from the North American warehouse first. So it was even more convenient than the 2 hour round-trip to my local dealer. (Which also is a fair dealer.)
Cheers.
