European Motorcycles of Pittsburg
I just want to post a good report on European Motorcycles of Pittsburg, dealers of Triumph, Ducati, BMW and maybe other brands.

When I ran into a financial crisis last summer and needed to sell my BMW quickly, Lee, the owner, helped me out when he could have taken advantage. He was honest and fair.

When I wanted to buy a Scrambler, I got a good deal there.

I've since bought parts from them and the staff has always been professional and helpful.

It's 100 miles or so from me, but the drive was worth it. I recommend them.

Last year I went there to purchase my Triumph, but I was not as fortunate, though I was not dealing with Lee. I believe it was David and he wanted to charge me more than MSRP and a setup fee in order to sell me the bike. I didn't purchase the Triumph from Dave nor am I holding it against European Motorcycles of Pittsburgh. I simply went to another dealer for the best price, but that is all I achieved.

I am going to European Motorcycles of Pittsburgh for the bikes first service. I want to point out a couple of things to them concerning my warranty before I do any modifications. I spoke to Mike who works in the service department and I told him the whole story and he said, "I don't care where you bought the motorcycle, I am in the business of servicing them." I like Mike’s attitude.

That's funny. Dave is the guy who processed my Scrambler purchase cause Lee was out of town. I said, "Dave, how about a t-shirt" (I have gotten free t-shirts, sweat shirts and hats every time I bought a bike from a dealer) He said no!

Not good customer relations. Heck, I would have worn it and given them free advertising.

But I still stand by my recommendation.

I wanted to buy from them, but that Dave was a different bird. I even questioned him on the mark up and he gave me some text book spill on how that is how they are able to pay all their top notch people.
I would consider them again if I ever make another purchase. They can have another shot at my money.

I ordered my bike from Lee the other day and he's been more than helpful. Shopped around and his price was well below the next closest area dealer. They seem pretty stand-up to me so far.

Great!
I am glad to hear it worked out. I was down there on Tuesday for my 07 T100's first service and everything went fine. They are turning in a couple of warranty issues for me. James was very Helpful.

A great dealer is a fun place! Gonna be in Steel City in May on business and will stop in.
