The dealer in Oklahoma City picked up Triumph as his first line, he had a used bike shop for many years before picking up Triumph, now he has Suzuki and UM. From what I have heard Suzuki called him about picking them up from another dealer they were pulling the line from.

Manayunk Triumph in Philly are good guys, I bought my sprint from them in '03. We handle Ducati and KTM as well here in NYC, but Triumph is very important to us - they get equal showroom and parts room space as Ducati.

It can be very, very difficult for dealers to be a one-brand dealership if that brand isn't a big volume seller like Honda or Harley. Space permitting, having two or three brands brings in more sales, service and parts/accessory sales while not adding a whole lot of overhead.

Every manufacturer would love to see nothing but exclusive showrooms, but it's just not going to happen much with smaller brands without significant manufacturer underwriting IMHO.
