Question Change of machine

Newbee on the block & could do with some experianced feedback. I Currently own (& love) a 2001 Thunderbird and feel like a change of riding position SO wanted to either adapt to a more criuser style bike OR swap for a Bonnie America. Would welcome any comments on best way forward.

Keep the Thunderbird and buy a 2nd bike.

+1, couldn't agree more. You won't ever find another bike like it.

While I love the America and Speedmaster, I found the seating position a little more upright than my lower back cares for. I also dropped the bars on the Bonnie forward and down to get me a little more leverage and out of the wind. Perhaps (if you haven't already) try a deflector screen. It may make the whole thing easier to ride. I just would find it hard to give up a great bike like the T-Bird.
