Dealer treatment
Ok, so I never get involved or write, but.... I found myself at Triumph of Tacoma today. They are a new dealer in my area, and they "KNOW" their business. WOW! I know I am just a girl, but its nice not to be treated like "just a girl" I do ride. They treated me like one of the guys that ride. Refreshing! They fixed my bike on the spot. The owner, even took my bike down the street to make sure it was fixed. They just got a customer for life!

It's nice to hear that the Dealer treated you with respect. Truth be known, you probably got the nice treatment "because you are a girl".
By the way, welcome to the site, I noticed it's your first post.

Condescending???
Derby Boy,
Dragonlady is a motorcyclist, Tacoma Triumph seems to be a dealer concerned with CSI (customer satisfaction).
Gender doesn't ( or should not) enter into the equation.

Probably they didn't want a woman mad at them. Ooops. I mean they wouldn't want a man mad at them either. A person. That's what I meant.
It probably IS that CSI thing. The Dealership (Chevrolet) I work at always pushes CSI. I didn't know anyone else would know what that meant.
Welcome Dragonlady. I mean Dragonperson.

Dude,
I wasn't trying to being disrespectful of anyone, just my rye humor in welcoming her to the site.
My appologies to Dragonlady if I offended you.

Derby Boy,
My apologies. I have a little bit of a hair trigger. BTW, love your Bonnie Black and the cafe fairing.
Bob,
I'm a car guy from way back. In the early 90's I was the Sales Manager of a Chevy store in Marin County

Dragonlady,
I shure hope our rude and rowdy behaviors won't stop you from joining us regulary. I promise I will open myself for some good zingers. For me it's half the fun after modding and ridding.
Again, Welcome to the club...

To all that confide
Just to interject... I found the dealership to be very help full and a breath of fresh air. I have traveled to many dealerships and have not found true riders like myself, and these people were true riders. Looking at the owners bike with over 70K on the odometer, tells me that they ride! Additionally each and everyone that was in the store seemed happy to be there.
By the way; Thank you for the warm welcome.

Stopped by the Tacoma place on Friday and talked with the owner. Really nice guy, gave the vibe of a iron butt rider. And by looking at the non triumph bikes on the floor the guy rides a ton. Really nice person to deal with, going to have to spend more time down there.
