Thumbs down The saga continues

Still no exchange shipment, no credit to card. Was able to contact a person at RG on the 24th. They had no record of the exchange item requested, despite having spent 10 minutes with a prior person when I goit the Return Auth Number, and inspite of the letter enclosed with the return. This person stated that they had not issued any credits, etc. She stated that they would ship the exchenge item that day and she would issue a credit (24.00).

TO DATE: ----- NO CREDIT, NO SHIPMENT. If product and credit do not appear soon, I will be contacting BofA, and filing a complaint with authoritiies. This is wrong.

Update

Spoke to Rg yesterday. Had no trouble getting through, and the agent was very nice, and explained that the order was processed last week, on Thursday last, not shipped, but will ship in 5 to 7 business days from Thrusday. We shall see.

I've had nothing but problems with Ridegear.com. I ordered a brake rotor about 4 months ago, and never received it. They can't be reached by phone, and rarely respond to emails. I finally got a response via email, and was told that the item was discontinued and that I would receive a refund. I've pretty much given up on getting a refund, I just email them ever couple weeks to remind them I havn't forgotten. Sometimes they respond, and always say that I should be gettiing my 75.00 refund shortly. After over 4 months, ill be lucky to get anything back.

It has now been like three weeks and ridegear has not responded to my many e-mails and numerous attempts by phone. Got a real nice womens medium red and black moto gp corkscrew jacket if anyone is interest. Will take less for it than I paid and that was $130

Will never even go to their site again.

DHL Notification

I, just this evening received a DHL email that Ridegear has shipped a package to me. Hopefully it will be the correct item; but something is on the way. Time from exchange order processed to shipping 7 work days.

We shall see.

I checked the ridegear.com link. The model wearing the jacket on the additional photos sure looks female to me.
Anyway, I only buy online from sellers that have been recommended or had positive write ups on sites like this one. Ebay is always good to check the sellers rating. Also try to check the sellers details before committing your cash. Do they have a street address, not just a mail address. Do they have a customer contact phone that works? What are their returns policy? Google their name for dirt from other buyers. Check the shipping charges too. Sometimes a good deal is not so good once you add on the freight charge. You soon find you return to the good ones!

RideGear Mechandise Arrived.

Well, DHL delivered the product today, one day ahead of schedule. It was what I had requested in exchange, and the correct size. The partial refund has also been crdited to the CC.

The elasped time, frustration, difficulity in contacting, etc. No more RG.
