New dealer in South Sound (WA)
Lakewood Motorsports south of Tacoma has just picked up Triumph. I don't think they have any bikes yet but their manager is in Atlanta getting trained in being a Triumph dealer. I've heard good things about the place as an independent gear and repair shop.
Our Rat-remnants group will be riding up from Oly for a visit tomorrow (Saturday 12/8). If you want to come along, meet at the Yamaha shop at 6807 Martin Way in Olympia for 10 or so departure.

The folks at Lakewood are very enthuisiastic about getting Triumph. They are all actual riders (including in bad weather) and friendly to boot. The service guys have been working on European bikes for years but will still be getting the Triumph training. So far, it looks like this should be a good shop.

Bill,I haven`t been to this shop since it was the old Honda shop, but really looking forward to it being a Triumph dealer,as I drive by it every day on the way to work. Its at exit 125 [Bridgeport Way] and I-5.Go north about 100' on Bridgeport to Pacific Hwy SW and turn left. Its the second or third building on the left, backed up to I-5. If you go south on Bridgeport by accident, the friendly MPs at McChord AFB will gladly point you in the right direction.[with m-16s]

I'll have to check them out. I have to try out some touring stuff so it'll be a nice test run. I'm north of Seattle and generally go to Champion Cycle in Bellingham. The Puget Sound area seems to be pretty well covered now (although some would argue the pros & cons of one or more of the dealers).

Guy,I don`t know if they have any Triumph stuff there at all. There isn`t a Triumph sign to be seen, and as mentioed by Gootch,no bikes yet.maybe they are just using the monsoon season to stock up.

Haven't stopped in (they were closed when I stopped by) but they do have a Triumph sign in the window.
And MisterMellow001, Howard at Champion is great wished I lived closer to his shop.
