Please excuse the extreme inexcusable laughable ignorance, but what is scratching? I haven't ridden bikes for 21 years until this summer and it's a term I've never heard before. I assume from the posts that it's a style of riding, like maybe scratching your footpegs?::

You've probably been doing it for years!! Especially with that nice Sprint. Personally, the sound kinda scares the stuff out of me, especially on the Bonnie. It's bad when parts touch down WAY before your knee gets close.
