Losing a great dealer in DFW

RPM cycles is giving their franchise to some scooter dudes, Keith is no longer
going to be a triumph dealer. I guess it Euro Sport for all triumph needs now.

Now that's a BIG bummer. I've been by there before and was going back soon for parts. I hope it means they're still gonna be there, just not dealing in Triumphs any more.

wow. I just dropped my bike off there today for some service.
That's a bummer.

Are they staying at that location, or have they sold the shop? Who exactly's taking over?

I would quit riding Triumphs altogether if the only source of service was the Plano franchise.

I've heard that as well from others.

Right now Keith will have no dealerships, at least for now. The scooter dude may take the name rpmcycles and they are somewhere on 35 north of 635 . Keith for now will specialize in old bikes and race bikes etc and will operate under the name BIG D , which he owns.

F4s, do you have the stock can? Merrin would not load the tor tune unless I had an upgraded can.

I picked up my bike today. Sadly, it's true and to me with a sad twist. As I understand it, Big D will have a non-compete with the new guys and not do work on bikes newer than 1995.

I can screw up my own bike without having to pay somebody else to do it. I had a lot of faith in Keith and his crew. If I had a restoration project that I didn't want to do myself, he'd be the guy I'd go to. Guess that means I'll have to get serious about doing my own wrenching again.
