BikeBandit SUX!

I'm doing my personal part to spread the word: Bikebandit sux arse. Used them twice and both times it's been a royal mess. I know many have used them with no problem...great. But this time I feel compelled to speak up. Pay back? sure. Warning for others? YEP!

Waited 2.5 weeks for a little part, after an initial screw up my part finally came. Alternator cover. Well it arrived all scratched and gouged! Wonderful, now I have to repackage it, go to the UPS store, send it and wait another 2-3 weeks for the cover.

The first time I sued them it was worse. No customer service number to call. Only email or turtle slow live chat...if/when it works.

I'm just one person, two experience and they are batting zero. Take it for what it's worth.

I think Oldndumb on the Sprint forum had a problem with them also. I have not used them, however I do really like the website with the parts schematics/fiche.

I've used them 5 or 6 times without issue.

It does take a long time for OEM parts, but they do warn you that it will take an extra week for Triumph parts.

I'll continue to use them, but I don't blame you for giving up on them, given your experience. If you're stuck somewhere without a decent dealer, I've had good experiences with Hermy's www.hermys.com

dblhelx is exactly correct when he says there is no customer service from bikebandit.

They claim to have a live chat function, but it is infrequently staffed. It generates an automated response that they never follow up on.
There is a phone number for them, but I can't remember what I did with it or where I got it from. I think it was off one of the other bike forums in a thread about how lousy they were. I used it to tell them I was doing a charge back on an order that never arrived (>30 days).

I think they are associated with a large chain of motorcycle dealerships that other members have had problems with.

They do have a nice website......but that is the extent of it.

Internet buying can be more frustrating than a slow dealer. I have bought some small items from them and never had a problem. Well packaged and timely.
