Anybody have any opinions on shops for service in Orange County, CA? I have an upcoming 24K service on my '98 Sprint 900.

I went into my local dealer today (OC Triumph), and they just didn't seem too interested in helping me.

Are there any other shops that work on Triumphs that people can recommend?

I use OC Triumph and I agree that hospitality is not the priority but quality of work is great. Try talking to Mickey himself. Another good shop is Southbay Triumph. I would stay away from SoCal Triumph as they only have 1 good tech and he is busy with Ducatis, all the rest of the techs are really trainees. When my Daytona was in there I could never get a truthful answer from them.......John

I ended up taking my bike to OC Triumph anyway, because with the weekend weather forecast, I wanted to get it done quickly.

Overall, I was pretty happy. The only downside was that they didn't call me to let me know about excess charges.

They did, however, do a lot of work without charge, and the bike runs great. I'm really happy with it now.

So, hospitality: No. Good work: Yes.

I'll take that tradeoff.
