Question World of Powersports - Decatur, IL --- opinions?

I am looking for opinions of people who have been there. I am thinking about going this friday. It is a little over an hour from my house, so I want to make sure that it is worth going. I am lusting after a S3 and want to see one up close and personal. Thanks!

W O P S in Decatur

I was just there Monday. A large volume dealer. Moving bikes and quads in and out is their mainstay. You can ask for Jason Comer and tell him the guy that bought the Triumph Legend from him Monday sent you. It won't get you or me anything but just an introduction. Rick is also there, kind of a "wheeler dealer" in my opinion. Be ready to "dicker" on price as they will do, within reason, whatever it take to sell or trade. Best to call ahead and check for what you are looking for, as they move quite a bit of inventory. I drove from Washington, IL and was happy I did. Good luck. Tim Mason

Triumph dealers

Depending where you are in Illinois, RPM Motorwerks in Belleville is a Triumph only dealer. They know their stuff and always have a good selection of new and used and demo bikes to lust after. Great people to deal with. Well worth the trip.

LeviSS - I deal with W.O.P. alot - I bought my last 3 bikes from them (including the 04 Daytona I picked up this past weekend)

As of then, they only had a Rocket in stock - that might have changed by now though, they move alot of bikes and have a LARGE inventory of used bikes (but not many used triumphs)

I deal with Rick Cox exclusively (the manager). If you are ready to buy, he is ready to sell if you know what I mean.
I usually stop over and look at a bike a few times, Ride it a few times and then walk in with cash and find out how bad they want to sell the bike - Rick has never done me wrong...A good guy IMO and all the bikes have been great.
They also allow test rides.

Where are you from, I'm also an hour or so away and might be heading over there on Saturday...
