Triumph of Windber

Hi everybody, zoomie from tucson,AZ. I just wanted to say a very large Thank You to Tim at Windber Triumph in Pa. I just bought a 1995 sprint here in Tucson, The bike ran great but sounded like a bucket of bolts at idle. I bought a manual and removed the clutch cover, sure enought the bolt holding the gear on the alt drive shaft was broken and spinning loosely
in the shaft, and hitting the backside of the clutch gear. So the shaft is hardened so there is no easy fix. I called at least 20 triumph dealers to ask about a fix. about 2 of the dealers new at least what I was talking about.
I even told them about service bulletin #185 and all the dealers said I was out of luck. After talking to Tim at Windber he knew about the service bulletin
and called triumph the same day. Tim called me the next day saying triumph ok'ed the warranty repair and had the parts in my hands in a week. And this bike is 12 years old. I replaced all the parts and the motor is alot quieter
and running great. All this cost me was the price of a phone call.
thanks again Tim you saved my ---.

That is an amazing story. I can't belive it. I had to get an emergency repair once, and had my biked towed to them. Fixed the problem and out the door in a couple hours. All while on vacation!!!! This was about 5 years ago. Glad they are still working hard for us!

I've been to these guys numerous times luckily with no problems . Everyone there is very cordial & knowledgable . I wish every trumpet dealer wuz at least half as good as these folks . Which is why I would highly reccommend them .

I dealt with these guys when I bought a Triumph Aspen riding suit from them off of Ebay. They bent over backwards to be helpful, and when I had even a small problem offered to set it right. I really liked their attitude.

If I lived in PA, I would definately go to these guys for bikes and service.

Somebody should let them know that their good rep has spread around the 'net.
