Just to let you know: Triumph of Illinois in ElPaso, Illinois, is no more.
I bought my Rocket there (June 06). Everything fine.
Wanted to make an appointment a few weeks ago and was told, that Mark's ElPaso RV and Cycleworld was not a cycleworld anymore.
The service guy with TriumphUSA told me: "Yes, this franchise is not on our list anymore." Thanks. It would have been nice, if Triumph USA had notified me (and other customers) - or am I asking too much? It's not that I bought something for $38.99 on sale there. The dealer could have had the courtesy to let me know. What if there had been a warranty-claim?
Anyway - thanks for sharing experiences with dealers.
Living in northern Illinois, there seem to be few choices.
I contacted Team Triumph of Wisconsin, Janesville. Comments, anyone? Will go there soon and will let y'allses know about my experience.
Yers,

They went out of the cycle business shortly after you got your bike, August/September maybe. Team MCC is excellent in Villa Park and the folks at Team Triumph sell only triumph, very nice and easy to deal with.

Team Triumph is a quality operation with nice folks. They sponsor a RAT pack and the midwest ride in so for that they should get some support. Never heard anything bad about them and if you are coming in from a long way away they'll do a loaner bike so you can go get lunch while yours is being fixed. Shaded picnic tables out front and a 50 cent soda machine. Get the picture of an old fashioned regular folks dealership just doing Triumph?

Well Amplum3,

Like triumphtimes;
I also would recommend MCC in Villa Park.

There phone number is:
630-782-2010.

There address is:
518 W. St. Charles Road
Villa Park, IL. 60181

If your not familiar with the area you can take 38 east all the way to Lombard, IL. Head north on Meyers take that to St. Charles Road - Go east and it's right there on the left across from Burger King.

You could also take I-88 to Midwest Road - go North to Roosevelt (IL-38) Go west to Meyers and North to St. Charles, hang a right and it'll be on your left.

Windwalkers in Naperville also has serviced and sold Triumphs - but they have moved and I'm not sure where they went or if they still handle Triumphs.

There's also a dealership somewhere in Joliet, but I don't know anything about them so I can't really make a recommendation.

**** I am very satisfied with the staff and management of MCC ****

Good luck

The motorcycle business is getting to be a very hard trade to make money in. There are many who are throwing money at dwindling sales just to stay open. Chicago and Illinois may loose more than one this year.

If Illinois loses one, I hope it's the one in Joliet. And I only live a handful of miles from them, but I drove an hour to buy a bike from South Suburban in South Chicago Heights. MMC is just as nice, but South Sub. gave me a price break without haggling on an 07.

Bought my Speedmaster from Team Triumph, they are great people to deal with. I'm sure you'll feel the trip up there is well worth it.
