Shedds, it was Frank's Motorcycle Sales in Vermont that did the igniter box warranty work. I have a feeling things would have gone smoother if I had had Great Bay do the work instead, but Frank's was the dealership that I purchased my Legend from.

Great Bay solved my oil in the airbox problem, to my satisfaction.

I'm hoping I won't have another igniter box failure, or you'll all hear me yelling, wherever you are on the planet. And Triumph will hear me the loudest!

By the way, most states have Lemon Laws; just do a Google search and find out what yours are.

What is the latest. LG? Have you had any opportunity to see if things are working properly?

Yeah, Will, I got it back from the dealership in the middle of September (it was gone a MONTH). I rode it for about 3 weeks or so, and everything seems fine. It's just going to take a while to trust the bike again.

Update: I spoke to a Triumph rep at the International Motorcycle Show in Washington, DC on January 9th. He said that a pre-existing problem like mine would be taken care of, even if the warranty was up. I hope I never have to find out if he was truthful, or just whistling Dixie.

LegendGirl,

I hope you took the rep's name and possibly even a contact number, so that you can Quote him, if, the problem rears its ugly head again.

Hope not.
