What does everyone think of the new Triumph Motorcycles website? They have left off the accessories section - let's hope that it's just been forgotten.

What does everyone think of the new Triumph corporate logo? Personally I don't like it, it doesn't look traditional enough, but maybe it will grow on me.

Cheers all,

Drew.

I'm not sure everyone has seen it yet!

After much labor to finally sneak around the splash screen and country menu and get to the UK site before my computer could freeze up, I finally did get in! But I'm not sure I see anything that looks like a logo...certainly nothing with a "TM" on it. Are you referring to just the Triumph name in a plain Helvetica type face? Looks to me like they're actually downplaying the logo.

As for the site--good grief. Fewer and smaller pictures than before, entire sections incomplete and unusable (the US page was pretty much that way previously, so I guess it's not as if we've lost anything on that one), advanced XHTML features that don't render correctly for everyone, plus scripts that produce one error message after another on older browsers.

And typos. Typos out the wazoo!

I sure hope they didn't pay a lot for that "improvement."

I don't care for the new logo. It's half way between the one we're used to and the old one. Should have left it alone.

I'm hoping the website is still a work in progress.

Have you seen the new brocures? Too much fluff and poor pictures. We're interrested in the bikes and seeing the details. The brocures don't show much. Another step backward.

I think it needs some work still ......... You're right, some links do not work and the question must be asked why publish it when it is like this?

The new Triumph site looks very girly to me. If they made scooters then maybe, but this is a bit too soft.

I'm not impressed with the new web site. What's with the intro.....come on lets see some bigger sharper pictures of Triumph Bikes to drool over!

It's not professional at all. :???:

Oh- and to think of all who have complained of the stagnation of the old website. Those who have complained of the lack of new iron.

If they are changing the logo's, the website, and have really updated their bikes, I wonder what else lies ahead? Change is scary!!!!

Maybe they should just sit back and keep churning out the SOS!

I saw Triumph fail back in the old days, and I am excited that they are back. I am double happy that they are willing to change with the times and keep moving ahead.

Thumbs up to the new stuff!

No, but if they're going to the trouble of making changes, why shouldn't we expect something new to come out of it? Why should we--or they, since they paid good money to do this--settle for just a new face on the SOS?

<u>Old site</u>: no substantial content, no updating for many months, many errors.
<u>New site</u>: no substantial content, no sign at all of certain key sections yet, many more errors--plus, some of us can't see all that supposedly is there anyway.

Change isn't scary to me. Managing change is what my job was all about for the last five years! Repackaging SOS, calling it "new and improved," and having anyone actually believe it--now, that's scary. ;-)

(I'm speaking only of the site here, having STILL NOT been able to see the new logo yet to comment on it. And the new bikes are, IMO, a definite step in the right direction.)
