Just found out that my girlfriend lives a block away from the dealer in Hendersonville, TN - just north of Nashville. Has anyone dealt with them? Sound like a reason to go to her place more often. Might be closer than my dealer in Evansville.

When Sonny Collier (Collier's Triumph/Ducati/Aprilia) closed up shop in west Nashville, I contacted Castle Rock (I think this is the dealer you're referring to), and was impressed with the fact that the owner (a lawyer/motorcyclist) took the time to invite me to come up, look over the shop, ride with ther RAT group, etcetera! I haven't had the time to take him up on it yet (he's over 200 miles away from me), but I've spoken to other dealers in the area (greater Nashville) and he's got a fairly decent reputation among his peers.

Let us know your thoughts/experiences!

Just stopped in and visited today. The sales guy I talekd to - didn't get his name was very friendly. He gave a copy of Torque (which I have still yet to receive from my purchase), and told me a bit about their RAT Pack. When I mentioned modifying my bike, he went and grabbed a guy named Jim from the back. Jim has a Daytona and a Tiger, which he rides quite a bit. He mentioned some good spots to ride too, gave me some advice on my bike, and invited me to go riding with him. They have an interesting set up - rather than have each brand separate - they sell the big 4 - they have the bikes grouped by style. Makes it hard to go looking a pure Triumphs, but is perfect for selling the brand to someone who may not know it. Funny thing - they seem to move a lot more than their fair share of Thruxtons and Rocket IIIs. Most dealers I've been to haven't sold the one that's been there for a few months.

The best thing that happened to Triumph in the Nashville market was when the relationship with Sonny Collier was severed.

Just too bad the motorcyle shop that occupies the place now only sells Ducati and Moto Guzzi.
