Just wondering who might be showing up. I sent in my registration materials over a month ago (nearly two) and have yet to hear back from them. It'd be nice to have even a form letter saying we got your stuff and we'll see you there, but the hear nothing! Sigh. Triumph is still working out the kinks, I guess...

I know there are a bunch of bikes headed down from here, but sorry to say I won't be one of them.

Yes, we now have 9 people going from the Cycle Barn RAT Pack. Four are leaving Thursday afternoon, four Friday, and one several days earlier and meeting us there. I don't think anyone has received a confirmation from RAT, but if things got goofed up you will still have a good time!

Four of our group will be there by then, as they left this afternoon. The other six of us should get in later - it is a long but fabulous haul from Seattle!

Had a fantastic time despite the "liquid sunshine" that made our trip home on Sunday such an adventure. All in all a great weekend with a bunch of great people.

Highlights:

Top honors go to Liz for getting things started on Friday night with a bang! She's decided to go try out for the local WWF team after taking out that table single handed!

Watching Vern the Bonninator head off into the sunset only to realize he was on the wrong damn road and totally alone! He managed to rejoin the pack and I don't think I've seen a Bonnie brake and corner so well in my life, but he made the turn-off! LMAO pal...

Thanks to Jim Callahan for bringing a Raid to our neck of the woods. Good to finally meet you face-to-face. Hope you had as much fun as the rest of us.

And I can't say what was more amusing: the incredulous looks of oncoming drivers or the astonished looks of the drivers of the cars we passed as we headed home on Sunday through a lovely little rainstorm. Thanks to Bob for leading me thorugh the spray...

I'll definitely plan on being at the next one. I'll see about having Marty post the pics he took - got some good ones to share...

Take it easy and hope you all made it home safe. See you 'round the next campfire...
